At Judgement Day.
say goodbye―
walk away from insufficiency,
bearing no cross of weakness;
opposite pain―
imaging sights of paradise,
with no reflections of meekness;
(chorus)
see, He knows we strive to be our best―
but rate our own success on another man's scale.
only to realize in th End, it didn't even matter,
whether self-investments posted their bail.
sought comfort―
hiding in far off places
of distance spaces;
expensive tastes,
left empty spaces within
those foreigners' places;
(chorus)
because we journeyed near and far―
craving comfort, in quest of a global home.
only to realize in th End, it didn't even matter,
whether cultures clashed or offered atone.
so obsolete―
the insignificant things
that hurdled up our esteem;
allowing thoughts―
of desperation to appear
much closer than they seemed;
(chorus)
because such precious moments were lost―
seeking glory in places reluctant to give,
only to realize in th End, it didn't even matter,
if we embraced a red carpet-life to live.
(ad lib)
at th Judgment Day―
those irreverent metals of praise
we've consumed;
matter not ―
and remain outside
doors of Deliberation Room.
